IEEE 1588 Standards Meeting venue
The IEEE 1588 Standards Meeting will be at the campus of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences. It will be held in the CIIT building (100 meters from ISPCS venue Lipperlandhalle):

Daily bus transfers from the hotels to the venue
There will be a daily bus transfers between the Hotels and the Plugfest/ conference venue. The bus schedule will be published here.Traveling to Lemgo and Detmold
Arrival by plane In order to get as convenient as possible to the ISPCS conference venue and the hotels, we recommend two different airports for your arrival: Duesseldorf Airport and Hanover Airport. Since it is not always possible to arrive in those two airports, a description for Frankfurt/Main Airport is provided as well. Arrival at Duesseldorf Airport We recommend to use the train from Duesseldorf airport to Detmold or Lemgo. A direct link to the English train booking system of Deutsche Bahn (DB) is provided here. With its own railway station, Duesseldorf airport offers a comfortable alternative to travelling by car. It is located at the eastern end of the airport grounds. The SkyTrain, a fully-automated cable railway, brings you from the terminal directly to the railway building. Here you have to take the ICE train towards Bielefeld. Once you arrived in Bielefeld, you have two options:
Arrival at Hannover Airport We recommend to use the train from Hanover airport to Detmold or Lemgo. A direct link to the English train booking system of Deutsche Bahn (DB) is provided here. The S5 Hanover Airport line runs from 4.30 am until midnight every 30 minutes and departs from Terminal C. Escalators and elevators will take you directly from the arrivals area to the train station. The S5 Hanover Airport line takes you in about 15 minutes directly to Hanover Main Station. Here you have to take the ICE train towards Bielefeld. Once you arrived in Bielefeld, you have two options:
Arrival at Frankfurt/Main Airport We recommend to use the train from Frankfurt/Main airport to Detmold or Lemgo. A direct link to the English train booking system of Deutsche Bahn (DB) is provided here. To get to Detmold as fast as possible you should use the ICE trains which depart at the Fernbahnhof at Frankfurt (Main) International. You will have to change the train twice. The first part of the travel will be from Frankfurt (Main) Fernbahnhof (ICE) to Cologne, there you have to change the ICE towards Bielefeld Main Station. Once you arrived in Bielefeld, you have two options:

Arrival by car Coming from Kassel please take the motorway A44 (direction Dortmund) and leave it at the exit Warburg (Exit 65). Then follow the urban motorway B252 in the direction Brakel. You have to stay on this urban motorway for approx. 70 km, it will directly take you to Lemgo. Coming from Dortmund or Hanover please take the motor way A2 until the exit Ostwestfalen-Lippe (Exit 28) and follow the traffic signs to Lemgo (approx. 18km). |
