Shipping Instruction

Due to complicated custom clearance procedure in China, please be attention to leave at least 2 months in advance to start the preparation of shipping in order to be sure that your devices will be able to arrive in time. The freight forwarder you select for the shipping should be able to handle custom clearance for both import and export in China. Temporary local storage and door-to-door service should also be available. Please do confirm with your selected carrier for above conditions.

Here we have two recommended (not mandatory) qualified freight forwarders for your selection. You may contact them for further enquiry & quotation.

Important notice:

  • 1.Since we have received report from NNR that they have met issues to handle the import of devices, we recommend all plugfest attendees to select Agility and the new added carrier Kuehne & Nagel Limited, to handle the shipment of devices. We already got the confirmation from these two companies that they can handle the shippment without any trouble. Companies who are already dealing with NNR are highly recommended to keep close contact with NNR for their resolving updates, or shift the carrier directly.

  • 2.Companies using your own forwarder please check with your forwarder that they can handle the import to China without providing 3C certifications (In case your devices do not have 3C certifications which are mandatory for the import of electronic devices to China). Otherwise, the above listed carriers are highly recommended to arrange the shippment.
